Codominant
In the Diagrams below we have used a Pastel (Heterozygous) and a Super Pastel (Homozygous) as our Co Dominant examples.
All the information supplied on this page can be applied to any recessive Morph
Co dominant – a mutant allele that changes the phenotype when either homozygous or
heterozygous. However the homozygous or the heterozygous do not look a like, neither do
they look like and normal.
Heterozygous – having two different alleles at a given locus.
Homozygous – Having two identical alleles at a given locus.
